Wala akong magawa so nood ako movie. punta kami sa philcoa at sakay ng FX. Pagkarating namin sa SM tingin agad ako sa skedyul ng mga movie at mga time ng screening nila. Kita ko una ay ung Enteng Kabisote.. Isip ako, tatangkilikin ko ba ang pelikulang Pilipino ngayon? Isip ako for about three minutes. Sa tatlong minutong iyon ay nag flashback sa akin ang Exodus na isa sa mga dapat namin panoorin sa isang klase ko. Pareho kase silang gawa ng mga Pinoy at pareho pang may CGI. Pero napaisip ako.. Nasiyahan ba ako sa Exodus? Ang sagot, Hinde. Ayoko ng pag-usapan kung bakit ayaw ko nang marinig ang Exodus, basta ang masasabi ko lang ay aobrang sayang lang ang isang daan ko dahil sa movie na yan. Basta alam ko pumasok ako sa sinehan tapos hindi ko namamalayan tapos na pala. So ayoko ng mangyari sa akin ang parehong eksperience sa Exodus. NO. NO. NO. (Hindi ko naman sinasabing pangit din ang Enteng pero felling ko OO. So para naman may halaga ang isang daang pinaghirapan ko ng dalawang oras, go na lang ako sa Narnia.
So bili na lang kami ng ticket at fly agad sa cinema 7 ng SM north. Pagpasok namin ay malapit ng magsimula. Madilim ang paligid at wala kaming masyadong makita. Nag-aadjust pa rin ang Iris namin sa kadiliman ng paligid. Pagkatapos ng mga 20 segundo medyo nakakakita na kami. Daming tao, matanda bata, tomboy, bakla, pusa, aso, butiki, leon, centaur, jaguar, cheeteh at kung ano ano pa ang nasa loob ng sinehan. Wari bang nasa gubat ako. Nagulat ako, hindi ko na alam kung nasaan ako. Maraming sanga sa paligid ko at natutusok ako sa mga branches ng isang punong may snow. Namangha ako sa nakita at ako'y naglakad lakad hanggang sa makita ko ang isang lamppost. Pinagmasdan ko ang paligid at pinakiramdaman ko ang kalikasan. May marinig akong naglalakad, tapos ay sa aking pagkabigla ay nakakita ako ng saing taong may isang paang pang kambing. Natakot ako, pero nalaman ko na mabait pala siya at ang pangalan niya ay Tumnus. Inimbita niya ako sa kaniyang bahay at pinainom ng tea. Nakatulog ako. Pagkagising ko nasa sinehan ulit ako. Nananaginip lang pala ako. Hehehe.. Tapos ay nagsimula na ang Narnia. Shet Deja Vu nangyayari ulit ang napanaginipan kow. Pero sa pagkakataong ito hindi ako ang bida kundi si Lucy Pevensie. So nagsimulana ang pelikula at bigla akong nahilo. Sobrang dilim ng pelikula, di ko alam kung nasa sinehan lang iyon o sa pelikula talaga. Tapos nalaman ko na hindi tama ang adjustment ng projector kaya madilim ang projection niya sa screen. Shet! gusto ko ipaayos pero sino ba naman ako. Shet na cinema 7 yan. Dapat ay sa bagong sinehan ipinalabas yun. Kaninis talaga, hindi ko tuloy nasilayan ng mabuti ang idol na idol kong si ASLAN ang hari ng Narnia. Napakalaking pusa ba naman niya. Natapos ang pelikula at medyo mang hang over pa ako sa mga pangyayari. Aside sa mga happenings sa pelikula ay may isa pang bading na gumagawa ng eksena sa tabihan ko. Imagine that! Nakikipag-away siya sa isang babae sa malayo. Heto ang mga lines niya: "Ang kapal ng mukha mo! Mas maganda ako sayo, tignan mo nga iyan chuva chuva chenes ek ek. Shet ang bading na iyon. Medyo nawala tuloy ako sa focus sa pelikula. Pero anyhow understood pa rin ng lolo mo ang story.
Masasabi ko lang sa pelikula ay, pareho sila ng sakit o problema ng Exodus, character development. Hindi masyadong napakita kung paano natutong makipaglaban si edmond at si peter, hindi ko alam kung may training na ba silang humawak ng galaking espada or what. Tapos hindi ko rin alam kung paano natutuong magplano ng laban si Peter (battle tactics). Mga sundalo lang ang marunong nun at sa aking kaalaman ay hindi sundalo si Peter. Siguro nasa book yun ng narnia or something pero sa pelikula ay hindi malinaw iyun ang medyo naging dizzy ang lolo mo sa kakaisip paano? Pero all in all maganda siya, hindi nasayang ang isang daang piso ko. (*pasintabi sa Exodus paro sila talaga pinapatamaan ko dito sa post na ito, nasyang ang 70 million ng sinumang producer nun, sanang dinonate na lang yun sa film institute or pinambili ng mas advanced na mga film equipments, haaaaay!!!!)

Beatle's Forever!

At exactly 3:17 am I woke up...

My body is tired and aching because of lack of sleep because me and 'her' watched the Korean action flick ARAHAN (2004) after I got my first Video City card here in the Quezon City(the card was cute because it was only an inch in width and two in height). The movie was fun, although the scenes are a bit dragging especially the last scene wherein the main charater Schang-wan fought the antagonist Heug-un. The action scenes were the usual martial arts flick where the protagonist will be first beaten up by the antagonist then there will some sort redemption on the protagonist and he will regain his strength then will win at the end. (Crap!) But on the other hand, it is still interesting. (reminds me of kung-fu hustle).

Anyway, back to the topic..

I woke up early because I wanted to surprise 'her' a full breakfast because this is a very special day for us. So I made sure that when I go out her room she would not wake-up. I had a hard time doing this because Meiow(our cat) is sleeping on my chest, so I lift Meiow slowly. I held Meiow's mouth to avoid the cries. I slowly tip-toed out of the room and into the kitchen. So there I cooked eggs, and pansit canton and made coffee milk(remember?), then brought out the wheat bread(she's on a diet). At exactly 3:30 i heard rumblings inside the room. I knew it was her and she woke up already so I crammed all the things thaty I am doing so that by the time she steps out of the room I'm done. But the heck things are not going along with me. As for example, the first egg that I was supposed to cook was rotten so I have to wash the pan again and heat the oil again and damn it took me 2 minutes to do that(thats 2 precious minutes!). Then when I was about to prepare the coffe, damn there is no sugar left in the container so I have to search all over the kitchen for sugar but fate just don't wan't to cooperate. Huhuhuhu.. But eventhough things are not going right I was able to cook all the dishes (though not on time).
Then we had our breakfast together. After the breakfast she went inside the room. I thought she was just preparing something (e.g. putting on powder or something), but it took her very long(noting that she was late already), so things became conspicous already so I turned on my radar(ears) and I overheard sounds of paper folding and scotch tapes pulled so I wondered, what is she doing? So I waited, then waited, then waited, then waited, till at last she came out with her hands cupped at her back. I asked her 'what is that'? She gave no words, but instead pulled something at her back and gave me a squary-thingy' wrapped in a pink colored paper. She handed it to me and said 'Happy 3rd monthsary, I Love You'. I was so shocked because I was not expecting it. My initial reaction was to hug her and give her a kiss so I did. At that very moment that I was with her arms some thoughts came into my head.(Pls check on my other blog Siopao at Pusa for the details of the thoughts). It felt like that the girl that I am with at that moment was the girl that I would spent my whole life with. (At that moment I felt like I am flying, with no worries and probles, just 'her' and me together). Then I looked at the package stared at it for a moment then opened it. Although it is very obvious that she rushed the wrapping, I was very touched because she was able to alot some of her very busy time looking for a very rare limited edition #1 Beatles' CD(a compilation of all of the beatles album with 27 of their #1 songs. Dang! I so much liked it and I immediately played it.

Then after all the emotions, she went to office already because she was already late...

She went already.. but still the music goes.. "She loves me, yeah! yeah! yeah! She loves me yeah! yeah! yeah!..." (From the album of the Beatles 'She Loves You' 1963)

Post Christmas Memoirs

After Christmas...

i had breakfast with my girlfriend at around 10:00 am. Shet! late na un dahil sobrang late ng natulog noong christmas eve kakapanood ng mga DVDs kaya late na rin kaming nagising(yup sa kanila ako nakatulog!). I woke up kissed her and went to the kitchen to scavenge some food to cook, wala ng natira noong christmas eve kasi naubos lahat noong nag DVD marathon kami(well except dun sa fries na super-salty kasi napasobra ang lagay ko ng salt noong niluto ko noong gabi.) Then halukay dito halungkat dun then(poof it became coco crunch!) no joke lang, nakakita ako ng eggs, so luto naman ako ng two pieces, then open ng food cabinet tapos nakakita naman ako ng noodles soup(ung just add one egg) so luto na naman(bagay sa panahon dahil malamig nun), tapos nakakita ng pansit canton then luto na naman, then timpla ng coffee then bread tapos tapos nah. Dami na nun baka ma impatso na kami nyan. It took me around 30 mins to cook breakfast at shet nakakapagod ang magpaikot ikot sa kitchen. Buti na lang at maaga nagising ang GF ko at she lend me her helping hand. Then breakfast na kami to the max! kain dito kain doon at eat your hearts out ang labanan. On the red corner is Nanette(GF kow) weighing 160 lbs. and on the blue corner is Mykel(akow) weighing 100 lbs. Sa unang round hampas si Nette sa soup at todo higop sa kanyang bowl samantalang si Mykel ay hinihigop pa lang ang milk coffee(milk coffe siya kasi mas marami ung creamer kesa sa coffee, 1:3 ata ang ratio ng coffee sa creamer, nakakasakit ng ulo!) hehehe jowk lang. Then later on, dumating na tayo sa final round at lamang ng isang subo ng pansit canton si Nette. Isang sunny side up na egg ang natitira. Parehong nakahawak sa tinidor ang dalawang manlalaro at matimtimang nagpapakiramdaman sa galaw ng bawat isa. Sa background ay dinig na dinig ang tulo ng gripo sa kitchen sa sobrang katahimikan. Sobrang tahimik ng paligid at tanging ang hininga at ang tulo ng gripo ang naririnig. Ding! dong! ding! dong! tumama ang mahabang kamay ng orasan sa numerong 12. Alas diyes na!. Nagtinginan ang dalawang manlalaro at wala pang split second ay biglang tunog ng Gong(ung instrument) at 'we have a winner'! sigaw ng VO(voice over). Makikita sa background si Nette na masayang nginunguya ang egg habang sa foreground ay makikitang maluhaluha sa Mykel. Biglang VO ulit 'I'm sorry Mykel but the tribe have spoken you have been voted out so you are the weakest link bubye!)

Yun ang nangyari sa akin noong breakfast! Hope you enjoy you're breakfast because it is the most important meal of the deal! If you skip it, you're skipped the whole day! Happy eating!


P.S. And guys I'm looking forward in watching Memoirs of A Geisha, Although I haven't read the book yet, I bet this will be a good one(base from the wallpapers and trailers). I'll be making a review so please watch for it!

Bilang first post ko dito sa blog I want you to meet my Cat Meiow..

first Christmas ko ito na hindi kasama ang pamilya ko, (pamilya as in tatay at nanay, kuya, ate, etc.). Paano ba naman eh kelangan mag-work. Pero ok lang first time ko naman itong kasama ang girlfriend ko along with our pusa na si Meiow(pronounced as mayo as mayonnaise). Bigay nya si Meiow sa akin as an advanced Birthday and Christmas present. Isang araw ng umaga kasi eh nabanggit ko na gusto ko ng pusa, tapos the next day sinabi niya sa akin na pumunta ng SM north EDSA. Dahilan niya dapat andun akodahil bibili daw siya ng gift para sa mga friends niya so on and so forth. So ako naman si Superman fly agad sa SM north. Sabi niya hintay niya daw ako sa McDonalds'. Pagkalanding ko sa McDonalds' eh use naman ako ng super-mega-ever big eyes ko para hanapin ko siya. Sa aking gulat ay hindi ata gumagana ang radar ko dahil hindi siya ma pick-up ng signal ko. Wala siya dun at nahahaggard na ako sa pagfly-fly sa magkabilang sulok ng McDo kakahanap sa anino niya. Malapit ng mag-burst ang super cool temper ko kanina sa kakahintay sa kanya pero ni slight na paramdam eh wala. Nasabi ko na nga rin ba super panget! as in panget ng araw kong iyon. Oras at Pangyayari

5:30 ng umaga

Na late ako sa work dahil na late akong nagising. Late akong nagising dahil hindi ko ma-play yung DVD na binili ko. Hindi ko siya ma play kasi pirated siya. Pirated siya kaya. Mura ang binili ko kasi la kong pero nun. (haaaaaay!, konektado ang lahat ng bagay)

12:00 noon

siksikan sa MRT at nakatatlong train ako bago makasakay. May class ako ng German ng 1:00pm. 12:45 na nung makasakay ako. Shet!

1:30 ng tanghali

hindi pa man ako nakakapasok ng German class ko, nitatapak ko palang ang paa ko sa loob ng room biglang BoooG! Nasaraduhan ako ng pintuan. Late ako kaya hindi ako pinapasok

1:45 ng tanhali pa rin

sa sobrang inis at gutom ko kumain ako sa may CASAA. Bumili ako ng spag, shet dry. Parang walang sauce. Pero kelangan ubusin, sayang ang 45 pesos, kahit na sayang lang talaga ang 45 pesos ko dahil walang lasa yung spag. Umalis na ako.

1:50 tanghali as usual

pauwi na ako ng bahay at pasakay na ako ng jip ng biglang kapkapin ko ang bulsa ko at wala akong pera! Naiwanan ko yung sukli ko sa may CASAA. Shet maglalakad na naman ako mula AS gang dun. Pakshet!

2:00 hay!

may narecive akong text.

ayan ang lahat ng mga nangyari sa kin noong araw na iyon.

2:45 yun ang use pa rin ako ng super telescopic eyes. Tatawagan ko sana siya pero wala akong load pang call. Itetext ko sana pero na low batt ako. Ang saklap talaga ng nangyari sa akin. Then nang malapit na akong maubusan ng natitirang pasensya(hindi ung pasencia na biskwit ok) ung 'patience' bah in English bah? Eh biglang sulpot ni Nette(GF kow). May dalang kung ano anung kahon na super kagalaki. Then paglapit niya sa akin tinutok ang isang malaking kahon sa akin at sabi 'may pusa ka nah!". Nilapit ko ang aking super sensitive hearing organ(tenga in short) sa kahon at pinakiramdaman, then biglang may nag 'miaow'. Tiningnan ko si nette pero hindi naman siya dahil hindi naman siya pusa. Tingin ako sa paligid pero la naman pusa(may pusa ba sa mall?). Then isang hirit pa dun sa box then ding! ding! ding ! ding! confirmed pusa nga ang nasa loob ng kahon. Isang siamese cat siya. Dun nakalagay si Meiow(pangalang ng pusa). Ang sweet niya(GF ko). Grabeh lahat ng mga frustrations ko noong araw ng iyon ay biglang erase dahil dun. (Para dun Thanks Nette!Mwah! Wabyu!)

Ngayon 4 months si Meiow at super kulit.

Tapos kaninang noche buena kaming dalawa ni Nette ang magakasama dahil may work din siya at nasa palawan ung family niya. Nagluto kami ng Fried chicken, French Fries, at pasta with olives, at meron kaming Fruitcake na sobrang nakakalasing. Then watch kami ng movie. Then pahinga na dahil may work pa rin kami kinabukasan. This is my most memorable Christmas eve with my 'other' family(Nette and Meiow). I will keep this for as long that I am alive. (Mushy!)
